Black Lives Matter tweeted ‘solidarity with Palestinians’ in the latest conflict & condemned Israel’s ‘settler colonialism’ and said it will ‘continue to advocate for Palestinian liberation’. ‘Black Lives Matter stands in solidarity with Palestinians. We are a movement committed to ending settler colonialism in all forms and will continue to advocate for Palestinian liberation. (always have. And always will be),’ BLM wrote.
The Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions campaign (BDS), a pro-Palestinian group calling for an economic boycott of Israel, responded to BLM, thanking them for their support. ‘Thank you for your solidarity. From Ferguson to Palestine, our struggles against racism, white supremacy and for a just world are united!’ the tweet read.
