During the Tuesday news conference, Black Lives Matter Restoration Polk Inc. cofounder, Carl Soto, stated that the surviving victims of the Target shooting claim they had their hands up before the shooting happened.

Wednesday marks three weeks since Osceola County deputies opened fire on a group of suspects at a Kissimmee Target, killing 20-year-old Jayden Baez.

The Osceola County sheriff’s office released video showing the suspect’s car lurching forward when deputies surrounded it.

Four people inside the car, including 20-year-old Jayden Baez, were accused of shoplifting from the store.

Baez died when deputies opened fire.
