An’Twan was sleeping in his car on New York Avenue early that morning when police officers, including Jevric, surrounded his car.

Bodycam shows Jevric shot repeatedly at An’Twan as An’Twan tried to flee in his car on New York Avenue near the intersection with Florida Avenue. Body camera video shows Jevric shooting at Gilmore’s car as he tried to drive away. Jevric was the only officer who fired.

“That was the most vile and disgusting act that we could’ve ever seen,” An’Twan’s cousin, LaShunna Gilmore said.
